GERMAN SLAW
1 head green cabbage, slicked thin
1 small red onion, sliced in thin rings
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. celery seed
1 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Put cabbage and onion in large resealable bowl. Pour sugar on top of cabbage mixture. In a saucepan, heat vinegar and celery seed on high until it boils. Take off stove and pour mixture in vegetable oil. Pour liquid mixture on top of cabbage. Stir until mixture is coated. Let marinate for a least an hour in refrigerator if not more. Best if done the night before. Enjoy!
RAMEN SLAW
1 pkg ramen noodles (chicken flavor) uncooked (break them up)
1 pkg coleslaw mix1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
3 green onions-chopped
Toss above w/dressing:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
